Synopsis
Doyle, Roger, George and Marci are carefree college friends until Marci is almost abducted by a group of what they believe to be Earth-bound aliens living somewhere in a secret lair in their city. They realize they can't go to the authorities with a crazy story like aliens abducting them, so they decide to find and stop the aliens themselves. They soon learn they aren't the only ones searching for them.
Kelly, an influential woman-for-hire, is also looking for the aliens. She isn't trying to stop them. She has a far more sinister purpose, trying to capture one alive and deliver it to her client in Argentina for a handsome sum of money.
Before she can find the aliens, she has to find out where they are and meets with Larry, a data broker who makes his living selling information to the highest bidder. Unfortunately, he's already sold this information and to protect his reputation, he won't tell Kelly what she wants to know. She doesn't take no for an answer. She extorts the information from him and makes an enemy in the process. He tells her to begin searching for the aliens in Indianapolis.
Armed with this knowledge, Kelly brings in all of her resources to search for the alien lair. She also brings in a team of mercenaries with previous experience fighting aliens. In an earlier encounter the mercenaries were beaten, losing many of their friends. And while they might be interested in revenge, the men are disciplined and will follow orders, even if those orders come from Kelly.
As Kelly gets closer to locating the alien lair, she recognizes that she isn't alone in her quest. She doesn't realize it is just kids and believes that her client may have double-crossed her. She tries to capture the kids because she thinks they are competitors.
The four narrowly escape, but now know that Kelly is looking for them. With nowhere to turn, all seems lost. If they could just get their information to the right people, without getting killed in the process. But there's no one they can trust. Or is there?
